MY DREAM JOB
Hello everyone, in today's blog I will talk about the job I would like to have.
The job I would like to have is in a department of a municipality or something like that, or also making public policies or readjusting them. I imagine it as an office job but with field trips.
The skills that I would need, I guess mainly soft people skills, to understand the things that they are going through and how we can address them from the work that we would do. On the other hand, theoretical skills are also needed to formulate the necessary solutions, or the approaches that are considered relevant.
Regarding salary, I think that sociology is not a career where you earn a lot of money, but it is something important when it comes to working. I suppose that working in the public/municipal sector is better paid, although it is not something that I consider too much.
To do this job I'm majoring in sociology, that is, I'm still not sure where to use my skills as a sociologist, but I have some ideas on what to work on, as well as where not to, I wouldn't want to work in a private company that I don't consider do good for society.
Do you have a more specific major specialization in mind? Like economy, philosophy, those stuff
